At what point do we stop him? Will it be before we’re the ones living in the hell of someone else’s retribution?
If you think the U.S. is invincible, even given the fact that Trump appoints the least qualified people to manage our defense, or I should say offence, and despite that he has alienated so many allies, then maybe, I don’t know, read some history?
Empires fall.
He has committed mass murder, justifying reasonable anger from both nation states and terrorists.
How would you feel if it was your child that was killed? Or your mother? Or father Or friend?
It makes us less safe, in the same way that Netanyahu is fueling antisemitism and making Jews less safe.
That doesn’t mean that any inevitable Americans deaths will be deserved. Neither did Jews in Australia deserve to die for what another nation has done, nor did innocent Israelis deserve Oct 7th. But innocent Gazans also don’t deserve to be killed for what Hamas did, which, was also in response to historical and continuing crimes committed by Israel.
The results of our continued hostilities are completely predictable.
The innocent will pay.
Some would say we are not innocent, that we could and should stop it.
I don’t know if they’re right. That’s what Israel says about Palestinians. I know I can’t fix America by myself.
I wish more people could see or accept where this is so obviously heading. Maybe then more would stand up.
Our President murders people in our name and just for good measure, calls them crazy bastards and mocks their religion.
All while allied with other Islamic states, but we’ll see how long that lasts.
